Why join a BIA?

There are many benefits associated with your Antelope Valley Chapter BIA membership.  Membership is provided not just at the local level, but also with the Building Industry Association of Southern California; California Building Industry Association and the National Association of Homebuilders (based in Washington D.C.).  These four associations are dedicated to making the building industry better for all involved and provide the power of having over 235,000 companies nationwide; 6,800 of which are within California; collectively working towards providing the dream of homeownership.

One of the primary benefits of membership is legislative advocacy.  Your Antelope Valley Chapter staff stands before all levels of local and regional government and agencies, making sure that our issues are heard and addressed.  This same level of service also extends to state and federal levels of government through active engagement with the above mentioned associations.

As an AV Chapter member, you have many opportunities to participate and build your business by taking part in our various programs, events and committees.  There’s plenty of opportunity for networking and bringing your business into the industry forefront.

Additionally, membership offers many benefits such as: a variety of insurance programs – including general liability and healthcare programs; credit union; resource materials; education program; and the ability to speak to legal counsel at no cost.  Our industry publications, local newsletters and industry conventions/special events are also great opportunities for improving your business.
